FORENSICS 101
Receive a FREE Program at Your Library or Museum (Click Here for More Info) Forensics 101 is excited to work with Public Library Systems and Museums in and around the Charlotte metro area. We bring exciting forensic science opportunities right to your door, including dusting for fingerprints, comparing our own fingerprints, “digging” for bones through our rice bucket, piecing together a human skeleton, comparing footprints, matching hairs and fibers, and following a crime scene to determine “whodunnit”. For your teens and adult patrons, we also demonstrate blood spatter analysis, forensic entomology (bugs), ballistics and discuss careers and opportunities in forensic science. We work closely with each organization, in order to provide a unique curriculum tailored to fit the needs of your program. Our fee for libraries is $110 per session. There is NO LIMIT to the number of Super Sleuths participating. Like several other libraries and museums have done, you can have us visit your location over the course of several days or even have us visit regularly throughout the year (learn how you can receive FREE programs). *Receive a FREE hour long program after our sixth visit to your location. Register for six programs within a semester, and we will make our seventh visit FREE! Programs can be scheduled for different age groups or departments within the branch, on the same day or spread over the semester. Branches must register for all programs at the same time. Programs cannot be shared between branches. Contact us for more information.
Please Note: Payment is required prior to the start of programs.
Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you cancel the registration at least 4
weeks prior to the program, a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted
from the balance refunded. If you cancel the registration
between 2-3 weeks prior to the program, a 50% refund will be given of the
balance paid. NO REFUNDS will be given less than 2 weeks
prior to the program.
